• Best Buddies
  Best Buddies is a non-profit oganization that conects people with intellectual disabilities in one-to-one friendships with non-disabled high school students. The club is run by a group of students from Woburn Memorial High School.  The students plan trips, coordinate fundraising activities and assist in fostering friendships.  The goal of Best Buddies is to help students with intellectual disabilities become part of the school society and get socially involved in the school community. Our program meets twice a month, takes comunity trips and hosts events within the school. Friendships are formed and both students gain from the experience. Best Buddies Match Party

Our second event of the year was a Halloween Themed Match Party.  Best Buddies came together to meet their buddies, dance, enjoy each others company and decorate pumpkins.  All of the students had a teriffic time.  The dancing took over the party as all the students got up and danced the afternoon away.  A great time was had by all.  New friends were made and old friends reunited. 

The dancing got everyone on their feet and smiling!

Spending time with friend is what Best Buddies is all about!  Brett shows the boys why he is the TIC TAC TOE Champion at this party (hence the big smile!)
