It is an honor to announce Stacey Silva as March’s Employee of the Month. Stacey works in the Mornin’ Brew every Wednesday. She always arrives at school ready to work in full uniform. Stacey looks forward to her day of work in the coffee shop each week demonstrated by her enthusiasm to get started each workday. Her duties include filling the ice buckets, stocking the juice and cream for the day and setting up the coffee cart. In addition to these jobs, Stacey wraps and labels muffins, bakes and bags cookies and makes trail mix for the Mornin’ Brew each week. Stacey has done an outstanding job greeting and interacting with customers using her Tech Speak box when she takes the coffee cart to the offices. She greets her customers with a friendly hello and asks them what they would like from the cart using her communication device. This has been an area where Stacey has shown tremendous progress. She does a great job collecting money from customers and putting it in the moneybox while demonstrating excellent manners. Stacey works cooperatively with her co-workers and puts forth a great effort. Congratulations Stacey! We are all so proud of your hard work and accomplishments. Keep up the terrific work!

It is an honor to announce Daniel as March’s employee of the month for the Launch Program. Daniel has been working at the Courtyard Marriott in Woburn this year. His duties include collecting and washing dirty cups, collecting laundry and trash, vacuuming and dusting. He also may be asked to deliver clean towels or anything needed to the housekeepers. Daniel demonstrates all the fine qualities of a good employee. Daniel is responsible by always coming prepared for work and school. Daniel keeps a neat appearance and conducts himself like a young man at all times. He takes responsibility for himself and his belongings throughout the day. He gets his own supplies and puts them away correctly when finished. Daniel is able to complete all tasks with little assistance and works most of the day independently. He manages his time independently, always on time for bus, huddle and lunch. If Daniel finishes his work early he asks supervisor if there is anything he can do to help. He has a positive attitude and is very respectful to others. Daniel’s friendly smile always makes people feel welcome. He is helpful to others, and always willing to lend a hand. He uses a walkie-talkie to communicate with co-workers and is always ready to get supplies they may need. The operations manager really misses him when he is on vacation, because he makes such a difference at the hotel. Daniel has matured and shown he can handle more responsibilities. Daniel we are so proud of all your hard work and great accomplishments. Keep it up!

Kevin shows that he is responsible by always making sure he comes prepared for work. His duties include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning the kitchen. Kevin demonstrates all the fine qualities of a good employee. Kevin has a positive attitude and is respectful to his co-workers. He is always cheerful when entering work and greets all of his co-workers with a big “hello”. Kevin is an absolute pleasure to work with at the Marriott Residence Inn. Congratulations Kevin! His duties include washing windows, cleaning the dining room, dusting, vacuuming and stocking soda machine. Dana exhibits many of the qualities of a good employee. He shows responsibility by always coming to school prepared. He cares for himself and his belongings throughout his very busy day. He uses schedule to move from task to task independently and gets his own supplies. He has worked hard on asking co-workers for help when needed. He also manages his time independently; he is always on time for work, break and lunch. Dana uses good manners and is respectful to others. He has been working hard to use eye contact and a loud, clear voice. Dana takes great pride in his work and is proud of himself when he accomplishes his tasks. Dana has worked really hard this year and it shows as his skills have really improved. Dana was an easy choice for this honor. Dana we are so proud of all your hard work and great accomplishments.
